Project Plan Control

Project schedule management ensures timely completion. Based on task decomposition, further breakdown is performed within each subsystem to create precise timelines for smooth implementation.

The firm develops project timelines in conjunction with client requirements and adjusts them based on progress. All project participants communicate execution status promptly, and revised schedules are published in a timely manner.

The firm employs rigorous project management methodologies for schedule control — influencing factors that cause changes, ensuring changes are approved, identifying schedule deviations, and managing actual changes as they occur.

Schedule execution and management activities include:
Influencing factors that cause schedule changes and ensuring all parties approve the changes
Identifying whether the schedule has changed
Managing actual changes when they occur

Schedule Control Methods

The firm's primary methods for schedule control include:

1
Schedule Updates
Any modifications to project management schedule data. Stakeholders are notified as necessary. Schedule updates may or may not require adjustments to other aspects of the project plan.
2
Corrective Actions
Actions taken to bring expected future schedule performance in line with the project plan. This typically involves schedule acceleration — taking special measures to ensure activities are completed on time or minimizing delays. Root cause analysis is often required.
3
Lessons Learned
Causes of deviations, rationale for corrective actions, and other lessons from schedule control are documented as part of the project and organizational historical database.
03

Schedule Deviation Response

The project team implements according to the project plan and submits weekly reports. The management department reviews monthly progress and submits progress reports.

Project and department leaders discuss and evaluate progress at regular meetings based on inspection results and weekly reports, adjusting implementation schedules or plan requirements accordingly.

At each communication meeting, the project lead must report progress to the client. Significant delays must be escalated to senior management to seek solutions.

Revised project plans must be approved by the client, management department, and senior leadership before implementation.

04

Progress Tracking

Project tracking runs throughout the entire project lifecycle. During execution and monitoring phases, progress is tracked according to the project plan. Tracking frequency is set based on project conditions, typically with weekly data collection and statistical analysis.

Plan Revision

1
Phase Plan Revision
When significant deviations occur during project tracking, root causes are analyzed. If the phase plan does not align with reality, the plan is revised and change control procedures are executed.
2
Detailed Plan Revision
Before a new phase begins, the next phase plan is refined. During phase execution, if deviations from the plan are discovered, the phase plan is revised and change control procedures are followed.
